It has been clear to me for a while now that an alumni site, as it should be handled, is higher maintenance than I am really up to committing to. The site as it currently stands is an invitation to spammers to harvest email addresses. Leaving it up in that state is irresponsible, or at least inconsiderate.
As such, the site will be coming down at the end of 2009. That should give people time to copy any contact info they want to keep.
The fuzzy, safe online world that I designed the site for has long faded into history.
I encourage everyone to participate in the alumni discussion group at Yahoo Groups, as well as participating with the official WSHS Alumni Association.
